This is a sequel to Zigzag Logic, so I would suggest reading that first. (Y/N), a usually skeptical woman who had a history with an abusive ex, has found herself amidst the power and destruction that was withheld from her knowledge. Being thrown into a prophecy involving a quill she possesses, she knows all but one thing: she needs to forget everything she thought she knew before. Bill, a dream demon who had caused destruction and nearly took the lives of two twelve-year-old humans, is in a constantly conflicted state. Only days before he had thrown away every ambition he had for his second coming of an apocalypse... all for a human girl. That turned out as a hideous mistake as his old friends found themselves doubting him and following a particularly manipulative human into the world he previously regarded as a pebble. What were they to do?

A friend's frantic call brings you to his apartment in the city, where you find a mischievous demon recently bound to your name. Now in a physical human form, the being is stuck with you until you banish him from existence- or until you die, whichever comes first. On the terms that you keep him around, he agrees to obey your whims, no matter how morally correct they may be. Unbeknownst to you, this demon has a tendency to turn things on their head. But when a life already upside down gets turned around, does it straighten out or only get worse? With Bill around, there's going to he a lot more headaches and muttered curses.
