Evelyn Jaynes has been living in New York City for two years. A creative, timid spirit, Evelyn keeps mostly to herself, relying on writing to express her thoughts. But when she meets a tall, quiet man by the name of Andrew, she discovers that using her gift might be the ticket to achieving the most out of life. // "The Codeine Scene" is still a work in progress. I haven't edited anything, so if you notice any drastic faults, have no fear- they'll be fixed eventually. Also, you'll find a youtube video on every chapter with the song that inspired it. Thank you so, so much for choosing to read my story! Please comment, follow, or like if you want.

The newest Nicholas Sparks book 'An Ocean Between' is said to be next summers big blockbuster movie. Nicholas had grown weary of all his books taking place in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and decided to write his latest book in a small coastal town most people have never even heard of. Oyster Virginia is the southernmost beach front town in the state and if you blink you'll miss it. Just outside of Cape Charles this quaint fishers village is where Tom Hiddleston finds himself as they want this film all on location as most of Sparks movies are. Out for his daily morning run Tom sees an Island with a grand white house and small lighthouse. The very historical Island that plays such a large role in the film he's in. It catches his eye every morning, and he can see the sweeping light from the lighthouse every night from his beachfront rental, but what he doesn't realize is that Cobb Island Station is important for much more than just the film.

Falling in love with movie star Tom Hiddleston was not on Rosie Wesley's list of "things to do". If he had been on her list, she would have fit him in between "do the laundry that's been piling up for days" and "make sure all new sheet music has been ordered for the theater." Because that's what Rosie does. She makes lists, keeps herself busy, and tries to forget that her love life is in utter ruins. But when Tom shows up, a film crew trailing behind him, he disrupts the entire dynamic of Rosie's small town. She quickly realizes that when he declares he's going to stick around for awhile, the only thing she truly wants to do is move things around on her "to do" list for him. Rosie Wesley has always believed in love. The kind that changes people, makes the world go 'round, makes life seem worthwhile. But after a few bad relationships, she was ready to give up. And now, with Tom around, she's wondering if he could mean more to her than just a figure passing through town. Or maybe, she'll always just be a hopeless romantic.
