And that's where you play a part in the story. You were gullible, and easily tricked. Dr. Robotnik easily fooled you into giving up Sonic, but first, you must work as a spy for Robotnik. You needed to turn in Sonic, and you knew he will trust you because you were another mobian like him. But did you really want to turn him in? You and Sonic didn't belong, but now the world needed two heroes. It got Sonic. All it needed left was you.

This entire story idea came from me-full knowing that it's awful-tasting pure vanilla extract because it smelled sweet... Yeah, it just spiraled from there... Important note: (Y/N) = (C/F) Cookie [for Cookie Flavor Cookie because that's how cookie names work-] I mostly give setting in the prologue because this was originally a oneshot idea. Slow going for the first few chapters (in my opinion).
