Domino squad wakes up to find themselves back at Kamino, hours from taking their final test... except they remember passing the final test, and they each remember dying afterwards. "So. We died." Hevy's voice is flat. "Yes, we died," Fives confirms. Even though his hands are steady on Echo's shoulders, his voice trembles. "We all... remember?" They all nod. Droidbait shudders, and shuffles closer to Cutup. "How is that possible?" he mutters. "We're not Jedi. We can't... see the kriffing future, or whatever it was. We can't-it's just not possible. How could we all have had the same dream?"

After the destruction of Tipoca City, Crosshair is left alone to contemplate everything that has happened. But when the Empire returns and picks him up, he finds that it isn't as truthful as he thought. While sitting in my room in April 2020, vibin', I'm suddenly launched into the Clone Wars universe and find myself on a world in the Outer Rim roughly 5 months after the Battle of Kamino. Salt and self-awareness of fanfic tropes ensue, but I soon realize I have bigger problems; the Bad Batch is after me to help them on a mission. Not only that, but this isn't exactly the Clone Wars I remember. Why are they after me, you ask? Good question, let's find out together.

Well, now I know what the Bad Batch need my help with: Accessing the coordinates to a planet that could very well be one from my original stories. To obtain that information, I need to lead them over the river and through the woods to the Vault, a magical cave that houses the coordinates. It's just a simple hike there and back. What could possibly go wrong? Unfortunately... a lot.
