Oh no, he's coming. I need to hurry up before he catches me. I didn't eat a single thing yesterday so I really need to search fast. I rummage through the scraps with intense need to discover a snack for my foster brother and I. I hear roaring foot steps approaching my direction. I snatch up a half eaten sandwich, from about a day ago, and plant it into my pocket. I knot up the ends of the trash bag and hastily get to my feet to head out. I'm too late. He catches me, red handed. He forces his hand into my pocket and pulls out my breakfast. He gazes at the sandwich and smirks........ SMACK!!
