Megaera needs to save her sister, who has contracted the alien cancer that's ravaging Earth. The only way to buy the cure is to agree to a breeding contract with the Daor. What the aliens don't tell the women when they sign, is that the experiments with artificial insemination have failed. They are going to be getting bred the old fashioned way. Meg is in shock. She has to have to have sex with not just one alien, but three. Because Daor males always come in triplets. She is apprehensive at first, but finds herself unexpectedly attracted to the Andreika brothers. When Meg is attacked by a prominent Daor female and the brothers just stand by and watch she is angry and hurt. Unaware of the law that prohibit males from touching a female unsolicited, Megaera publicly rejects them. The brothers are furious, and Macara and Khol choose to punish her by trialing for the right to breed a female who has gone into heat. Meg runs from the dangerously violent scene, straight into the arms of slave traders, who sell her to a fight club where she will be the prize for the winning gladiator. There are many strange species fighting, and Meg finds herself viewing rape as the lesser evil when she discovers she could be stung to death, or eaten alive if one of the non-humanoids were to win. The Andreika triad come to their senses and stop fighting, only to find their breeder has disappeared. Ser, Khol and Macara look for Meg, but the tension between them sends them searching in different directions. Can the fractured triad put aside their differences and come together to save Megaera? What none of them know, is that there are dark powers behind the illegal fight club, and those people are willing to kill anyone who might uncover their secrets.
