The Butterfly Effect is the idea that small, seemingly trivial events may ultimately result in something with much larger consequences. But could stealing one crystal lead to being trapped inside TCRI, well Mikey thinks so. Does Mikey regret running away? Does he regret, meeting his family? Does he regret stealing from the kraang? One day during a mission, Michaelangelo finds a room full of crystals, created and engineered by the Kraang. As Michaelangelo got curious and grabbed a crystal, he transformed into...a human? But of course, all good things come with a sacrifice.

The Kraang shot Mikey with some kind of weird ray gun and now the youngest turtle is completely brainwashed. Well...almost completely. He knows a few things, and what he doesn't know he figures out. Stuck with the mind of child, Michelangelo forms an attachment to one brother in particular. But what will happen when Mikey is returned to his original state of mind?

After the battle with the kraang, Mikey makes the sacrifice to save Leo's life in the cost of his own, dying as a result. in the anguish of Leo's guilt, he accidently creates a portal in which he meets an alternate version of his brother.

Mikey runs away from home and meets a new stranger. How will their story play out?

Mikey is grounded and made to stay home while his brothers go on patrol following Mikey making a huge mess and is made to clean it up alone but as he does he hears a noise coming from Donnie's lab and goes to investigate getting pulled in to Dimension X through a portal and finding himself in even more trouble and a battle for survival...
