An almost death experience can change a person. Lexington Grant felt that change the day of the incident. But how do you deal with change when you can't explain what's happening to you or why? Time doesn't seem to help. And four years later that feeling of something missing is still there, and it's not just her memory of that day. Trying to ignore the lost feeling, Lexington focuses on enjoying her time as a college freshmen. But her world comes crashing down again when her past incident finally catches up to her. Now, finding out everything that she didn't think was possible is possible, everything is changing. Vampires exist. But finding out that she's something special and yet an abomination is a scarier thought. And what's worse is that vampires want her dead. Except the man with dashing good looks, who she can't help but slowly fall for. With the help of her protector she will have to show that she belongs in this world, by his side.
