They stand, tall and patient, piled high at one end of the desk. Adora adjusts her dress to a more comfortable position before wiggling in her chair. She supposes she's going to be here for a while. After all, there's a lot to think about... Where to begin? She ponders. At the beginning, she decides. Well, the beginning after the end - the first morning of peace. And after that? An adventure beyond anything she could have imagined. From the long-lost depths to the magical skies of Etheria. With the Horde truly gone, the rebuilding is all but complete. But that wasn't the case back then. Adora smiles at the thought of Catra; she was there that morning, quite unexpectedly. That was before they knew about her magic, before she learnt to control it. Adora takes a final deep breath, truly considering everything they've been through in the last six months since the Heart, since the Resurgence. All their highs and lows, good times and bad. It's all important, and she'll write it all down. With that thought in mind, she reaches for the first of the blank books and, after opening it to the first page, begins to write... Adrien and Marinette both work as political campaign managers, and they have the will and drive to make sure that their candidate wins. The problem is that they work in opposing political parties and not one of them is backing down without a fight, even if it turns dirty. This was it! She failed. Marinette had failed in life, she had failed to defeat Lila and Chloe like she had planned. There on the cover page and on the news were Adrien and Lila, exclaiming their relationship to everyone of Paris. If she had been smarter; if she had knew what Lila and Chloe were planning, then all her friends, all of Paris, even Adrien, wouldn't have gone against her. Now she knew their plan, but it was already too late. Lila lit the match and threw it at the curtain, lighting it with fire. She and Chloe laughed and walked out of the room, making sure to lock it. With every strength she had left, Marinette banged on the door, hoping someone would come and save her. No one came to her rescue as the room was lit in fire, burning everything in it, along with Marinette. But what happens when a sudden miracle happens? What happens when Marinette is pushed back into time, where she, Chloe and Lila are still at war? What happens when she's given a second chance? Is she going to do it right this time, or is she going to turn into a horrible failure all over again?

~~ Marichat Fanfiction ~~ After the Evillistrator incident, Chat Noir has been making frequent visits to Marinette's balcony, sliding letters through the trap door into her room. The letters mostly ask for her forgiveness, advice and ordering her to protect herself from the dangers of akumas. Marinette is conflicted with her love for Adrien Agreste (who is, in actual fact, Chat's true identity). But nevertheless, she decides to reply to Chat Noir's letters, which leads to the two growing closer than ever before.

MARINETTE DUPAIN-CHENG: Wittily and sassily strong despite everyone else's irritating opinion. ADRIEN AGRESTE: Paris' most discussed fashion model mogul with a constructed personality. While they may have met under unforeseen conditions, the two quickly become best friends. Most don't believe that two people of the opposite sex can remain platonic friends for the long haul.
