Taking place right after the epilogue of Star Wars Rebels, Sabine, Ahsoka, and Rex set off to bring back the lost Ezra Bridger. On their journey they encounter many perils, unlikely allies, new and old faces, and many mysteries involving the unknown regions. Will they be able to find Ezra and bring him home? Or is he even still alive? This is the sequel to encroaching darkness which is the sequel to imbalanced. I recommend reading the first two before this one otherwise it's going to be a confusing mess. Life's being good to Ezra for a change. his son, Aiden, has just been born. He's found his mother and new to him, younger sister. Kanan and Hera had their son, Jacen. Life's good, to say the least. But they can feel the darkness encroaching on them. Ezra won't allow it to grow near his family and their newfound happiness. This is the sequel to imbalanced. The story won't make much sense if you haven't read that. So if you want to read this one I'd recommend reading that first. So it comes recommend to give that one a look over first.
