A woman losing faith and being rejected from her family , encounters the different faces of death. From her own family home, to the mental asylum, through the synagogue, the hospital room where her father dies a slow death. to the graveyard, and the back-rooms of the corpse-washing practices, she is born and reborn. She brings together the religious and sacred, the physical and earthy, the mental and allegoric to question the reality of 'existence' and the drive to end the pain that accompanies every single day she remains alive.
