Never in my life has my mom ever said something so horrible, so disgusting. Never in my sixteen years of living, have I heard something so awful and cruel. When Mom said those five words, I felt like my world was ending, and that my life was over. "You're going to high school." Now, I know what you're thinking. What's so bad about high school? Well, nothing if you're a normal, responsible human. But, that's just the thing. I'm not human. I'm a vampire. And, I've watched a hundred human movies to know that high school is horrible. My life has officially ended.

Zara Grey was your typical good girl. She got good grades, she rarely snuck out, and she hardly ever goes to parties, but one night while at a party with her friends someone knocks her out. She wakes up in an abandoned warehouse tied to a chair with a bunch of tubes connected to her. A couple days later she's not your typical good girl. She's your typical monster.

"Hello Arianna." he said smiling. "You know my name ?" I asked puzzled. "Of course I do", Mr. Lee replied chuckling ," now this is going to hurt, but the pain will stop soon do you understand ?" I nodded in response and he slowly put his hand on the left side of my neck, pushing my hair out of the way. I didn't actually understand, but I could now hear my mother sobbing in the background. All to soon I understood his serious question though, my neck started burning and eventually my whole entire body was searing with pain. I could feel everything but I couldn't move at all, I couldn't scream, I couldn't push the strange mans hand away.
