It's not every day you wake up with only your name as a memory. And it's not every day you wake up in a post-apocalyptic future as a cybernetically enhanced super soldier assassin created to kill your own species. Eli doesn't remember killing hundreds of people. Quite frankly, he doesn't remember anything at all. Everyone at the Resistance does though and he only has a short amount of time before he's decommissioned and destroyed forever. It's been over 20 years since humans created the super AI named TITAN and it was over 20 years ago that the human race was almost rendered extinct for their troubles. Even with TITAN's presumed death in a colossal explosion, between Eli's emergence and the increase in random attacks from technologically advanced machines, it's beginning to look like the genocidal Artificial Intelligence is very much alive.
