Ilyia has spent her entire life living far away from her fairy brethren. This doesn't stop her from finding her own kind of trouble, however. When a handsome lightning fairy named Taren enters her world, she learns of a great darkness spreading its tendrils across Medira. Worse, the dark fairy, Lord Merwellian, is after her and her tears of healing. After her mother is taken hostage, Ilyia has to join together with Taren to save her mother, and Medira, from certain doom.
