The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, is an American children's novel written by author L. Frank Baum and illustrated by W. W. Denslow, originally published by the George M. Hill Company in Chicago on May 17, 1900. It has since been reprinted on numerous occasions, most often under the title The Wizard of Oz, which is the title of the popular 1902 Broadway musical as well as the iconic 1939 musical film adaptation. This is about a girl named Jennifer Fishman. She has a boyfriend who has a bunch of girls all around him, but he calls her his girlfriend. He always treated her like she was just one of the girls that always crowded around him. All he does is send her different things everyday in her mail, not even giving it to her in personal. All he said when they first met was,"I love you." After that day, he never said it to her ever again.
