Thomas Brodie-Sangster es integrante de una de las bandas más conocidas en todo el mundo. Tiene todo lo que desea, dinero, a sus mejores amigos tocando a su lado, fans... No piensa que nada le pueda bajar el ánimo ahora que está de vacaciones dándose un respiro de la gira en San Francisco, pero cierto castaño decide arruinar sus planes. Dylan O'Brien es un chico corriente, y probablemente, el mayor fan de la banda de Thomas... Bueno, y de Thomas. Cuando se entera de que su mejor amiga conoce a un miembro de la banda, y de que el grupo tocará en su ciudad, en el bar donde trabaja su mejor amiga, decide que tiene que hacer algo, y rápido. El único problema que hace de esta historia algo un poco interesante, es que Dylan nunca ha tenido ideas demasiado buenas. Y presentarse ante su mayor ídolo, y el chico al que quiere enamorar diciendo que no le gusta su música es, probablemente, la peor que ha tenido jamás. O la mejor, ¿quién sabe?
