jack avery, mr popular with outstanding grades, hated zach herron's guts. ever since the day jack came home with a black eye in the 5th grade he despised the younger boy, plotting his revenge on him. zach herron, loner and stoner, disliked jack avery. he hated him since he gave him that stupid smile and offered to be his best friend. zach doesn't have friends. ___ "i'm. not. fucking. tutoring. him." jack slowly says to his mother. she rolls her eyes.
