This is a writing challenge as much as it is a story. I am trying to write a 300-words-a-day story, and publishing each 'episode' daily. I am working on the honour system of not preparing any episodes ahead of time, and just enjoying where it's going. The Space Between is the story of a man who's lost everything, and a woman who's trying to save the world. I have been publishing the episodes on my blog for a week-and-a-half, so there will be an initial surge of episodes, but then Wattpad will be caught up and will go to the daily schedule. Thanks for reading!

Life was perfectly dull until the new guy arrived. Now if they could only find out who he was and where he'd come from

When my friend received a postcard in the mail depicting his childhood home he had no idea who had sent it or why. Even stranger was the unknown address scrawled on the back in his own inimitable handwriting. Only one thing was clear. We had to go and find out for ourselves what this was all about. Our innocent little road trip down memory lane soon turned into something quite different, as one mystifying turn after another led us into a tangled knot of confused identities, alternate histories, unfathomable intrigues and sheer bewilderment in this short novel of the truth, the partial truth, and anything but the truth.

Being a zombie, not so easy. That could have been Dave Connor's six word memoir. "At first he couldn't remember how he'd ended up in that shallow grave; he just knew it was hell to claw his way out, and that the taste of its dirt would remain in his mouth for the rest of his time on this earth" ... Expect the unexpected in this existential resurrection thriller.
