The unholy union of a high school AU and a ghost story. Gerard's life takes a strange turn when his family moves to a small town in Vermont and he discovers the locals aren't all what they seem to be. First: some extra warnings - This contains violence, homophobia, character death (but the character's still there--there's a fair amount of delving into the subject of death and dying, though, so be aware of that.) Gerard is a talented magician, responsible for much of the success of the famous Envision Destiny cruise ship. He's also one of those people. You know, one of those people who just seem to take up all the space they come across with their arrogance and confidence. You wouldn't wanna touch their personality with a 10-foot pole, but still people admire them. That is beyond Frank. Working behind the cruise ship bars and seeing Gerard pretty much every day, he can't understand what's so great about him. Besides, everybody else doesn't have to deal with his snide remarks and rude comments. Because if there's one thing Gerard seems to love, it's the act of constantly pestering Frank. But Sirius still had a problem. He always wanted to touch Remus. Just any sort of physical contact. When Remus was laying in bed, Sirius wanted to crawl in too; every time Sirius sat next to Remus, he had to constantly remind himself not to run his hand over Remus' thigh; Sirius wished he could slip his cold hands under Remus' thick sweater and finger every scar that littered Remus' pale skin; Sirius wanted to caress every part of Remus' face as if he could memorize it by touch; and Sirius really wanted to know what the soft skin on Remus' neck felt like under his lips, Sirius wondered if Remus was as susceptible to love bites as he was. Gerard Way is the school's Norman Bates. He's freaky, he acts like he's constantly anticipating something, and he does taxidermy. People fear him, and quite honestly, he gets off on it. There are so many bad rumors circulating about him that even he isn't sure which ones are true. Meanwhile, Frank Iero has a reputation for himself. He's an idiot. A comedic one, especially with his friend James, but an idiot. He once came to school high off his ass and passed his math exam with flying colors. It was a dumb move, but an entertaining one. "You can run away with me, anytime you want." I want to get away. Away from the abuse at home, at school hell, but we're not friends. I could never be friends with Gerard Way. He's just some guy that fate seems to drive me towards. His brother may be even more of asshole than him, making my school life living hell and I guess things at home are not too great either. And despite how much of an asshole Gerard Way is, he's the only one that seems to make anything better.
