This book takes place in Florida at Manatee High. Sophomore Lacy is bullied everyday which leads to depression and anxiety. Her situation at home doesn't help the matter. She lives with her older brother and abusing parents.

Welcome to our Society. Here, you will be judged on every little thing you do. On what you wear, what you look like, who you're friends with, and on basically every other personal action or imperfection you have; and you will be made fun of for who you are. Enjoy your stay.
