(Sequel to Hell and Back) If Wren Jordan had learned anything while being a leader, it was to never leave her people behind. There was never a good enough reason to do so before, and she wasn't about to start looking for one now. Ever since she woke up in a blindingly, white room and saw her twin brother frantically screaming in the room opposite of her, Wren knew something was wrong. When she realized less than half of her people were present there, there was no doubt in her mind that she needed to find them and would stop at nothing to do so. Wren refused to give up hope about finding them, especially since one of the most important things in her life was with the missing group. Now, with new feelings in mind, powering her every move, Wren must be willing to work with the enemy, make new and unexpected alliances, and raise hell while fighting for the ones she loves most. Even if it meant that her bond with her twin brother would be put through the ultimate test.

She couldn't really explain how she came upon the planet called Earth, as she couldn't really explain anything. She woke up in the woods with no memory of how she got there. She couldn't even remember a detail about herself, not even her own name. Unfortunately for the teenage girl, her memory loss was not a good enough answer for the people she found herself surrounded by. The Grounders of Earth took the stranger hostage, demanding to know how she came to the planet, with only small mutters of her falling from the sky. She was left without answers, which only angered the people around her which led her through a long year of tortuous interrogations that left her barely alive. It wasn't until her one friend among the Grounders helped her free herself, allowing her to escape from her captivity. Left alone in the woods, barely alive after her latest beating, she ran through the woods in the hopes of the Grounders not being able to find her again, knowing they would surely kill her. Finding herself lost in the woods, and barely able to walk, she found herself surrounded by a group of new people, and by even more surprise than learning the Grounders weren't the only people out there, she learns that they know who she is. Having been ripped out of her mother's arms right after being born a minute later than her twin, Wren Jordan was sent to the Sky Box on the Ark. Considered a criminal for the simple act of being born, lonely walls and cell guards are all she has and all she's ever known for the past seventeen years. When forced out of her cell one day and placed on a ship, a confused but excited Wren learns that she is part of The 100, a group of underage criminals, that are to be sent back to Earth, where no one has been to in decades. Filled with mixed emotions, Wren finds that she has no idea on what to expect on the ground. A sure death, most likely. What she most certainly didn't expect was to find that her twin was to be sent down with her and the rest of The 100. Determined to keep herself and her recently met twin alive on the ground, Wren is willing to do whatever it takes to keep them safe. But when some of the delinquent group decide to cause trouble, she finds that she got more than she bargained for when she tries to stop them. Confused, with new and mixed feelings found, Wren Jordan will find that it takes more to survive than she thought and that some people make it worth your while to go to Hell and Back.
