Set on an alternate Earth not all that different to ours, fairytales have been outlawed, governments believing that the best way to prepare young people for the world is to expose them to reality as early as possible. But a horrible mistake has been made: not only are fairies and magic real, but our diminishing belief is weakening them, and the weaker they are the more danger the human race is in. When teenager Clint narrowly escapes an attack on his family home he finds himself drawn into a world where he and his friends hold the key to saving fairy and humankind alike. As they discover the hidden world of magic they meet extraordinary friends and discover the horror at the centre of the war: an immortal being who needs no sleep, who offers no mercy and will stop at nothing to watch the world burn. As they race to help the fairies and persuade the world of the truth before time runs out they face a dark reality. If they cannot rally the forces of light in time, their enemy will create a literal hell on Earth.

I stared at my reflection in the mirror, noticing my eyes were crystal blue instead of the vibrant hazel they once were. I looked at the mirror confused, reaching out to touch my reflection. But instead of meeting smooth glass, I was met with a liquid like feeling in my fingers as they passed through the mirror, my eyes widening with amazement. The feeling was cold and foreign to my skin, sending tiny shocks throughout my arm. 'Go in,' I heard a voice in my head whispering, coaxing me to enter the strange mirror. I hesitated, drawing my hand back and staring at it. My fingers were blue. I stared back at the mirror, this time noticing my reflection was gone. I took a few steps back from the mirror, astonished by this ability. You're just dreaming, Azul. You'll soon wake up in your comfty bed, grasping at the leaving memories of this dream. No matter how much I told myself this, the whispering kept getting louder and louder, echoing in my head. My body froze over and I dropped my hand, it falling to my side. It was as if something was controling my body, luring me into the mirror. I battled to regain consciousness of my body, but whoever had it now was too strong. I slowly walked towards the mirror, reaching out to touch it again. This time, I didn't just stop at my hand. Soon my whole body was enveloped by a chilling feeling as I stepped inside the mirror --- Azul Basil is a young college student who has just moved away from home to pursue a degree in art. When a mysterious, and quiet large, package shows up, she discovers an anonymous person had sent her a mirror. Azul starts noticing the blue tendencies of the mirror. From small things like the shade of her eyes or the lamp in the background turning blue. Soon she's sucked into a world with magical creatures, castles, and the fairytales she always disregarded when she got older. Book cover - made by me All Rights Reserved

But when I finished gaming, I was fuming in anger. How come those four hot boys were falling head over heels for such a head on the clouds, klutz excuse of a heroine ?
