A muscle in his strong jaw ticks, almost as though it's counting down the seconds until his emotions swallow the both of us whole. I've never met anyone like Tyler. Never met anyone who's so honest about themselves like he is. The good, the bad, the ugly, the beautiful...it doesn't matter. He's an open book and that...scares me. His mere existence in my life demands that I open myself to him in the same way. He wants me to wear my heart on my sleeve, but that's how things get broken.
