Shortly before losing his father to cancer, Frank develops a change of heart and becomes a caregiver. Getting sick of working many dead-end and crummy jobs at nursing homes, he takes up in-home care, where he meets Gerard, an old friend from high school. Diagnosed with a terrible illness that is soon to claim his life, Gerard has a very negative outlook on life, feeling both worthless and beyond help. But, will any of that change when his old high school friend, and now caregiver, comes back into his life? (Kudos to momiji_neyuki for collaborating with me on this fic!)

Two boys move into the Iero house as foster kids. The younger brother is like a parental figure for his older brother who lost most of his memory and developed a mental disorder after an accident. But Frank Iero is there to help the older brother through a lot of things and surprisingly, the older brother begins to trust Frank more than he trusts his younger brother.
