They were poles apart. If one is scorching summer, the other one is icy winter. The rise and fall never happen to meet on the same line. Arnav and Khushi weren't different. Yet they had to meet one day, just like a dawning sun would bid Hi to a rising moon - on a full moon day before lightening up the other part of the world, letting the moon take its journey in a dawning part of the world. And they did meet, on one full moon day, only to fall in instant dislike for each other. It only grew more amidst the palpable attraction. In circumstances unavoidable, albeit disliking each other, one of them had to go and fall in love with the other. Corrivals prying off their lives amidst the chaos of emotions creating havoc in their lives had only complicated it more. Will they survive the love? Will the other one ever fall in love? Or will their corrivals succeed in destroying them? Cover credit : @ThE_nAtUrE_pro

The story picks up from the web series that is 3 years after the TV series ended. I am not writing this for likes or comments. It's just that something felt incomplete the way the serial ended.

"Hope is treacherous but how can you live without it?" - A burning rose (Elizabeth E. Wein) This quote ran throughout his life... He was waiting... He is waiting... And he shall always... For her. He shall not let the rose succumb to the flame of time or separation. Disclaimer: This story is inspired from one of the first Arshi ffs I read- "I want you" By Nadia, the link to which is given below. Please go and read the story if you haven't already. I wanted to write a fanfiction retelling of sorts of it from Khushi's POV with a lot of personal changes. However, this can be read as an individual story too as I have changed many many many things, added new characters and what not. https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/topic/2919599 I really hope you shall like this new point of view to that story.

Khushi has to choose whether to preserve the utopia of a woman who dedicated her being to her partner, or to reveal the truth and risk the destruction of everything precious. As much as her brain urges her to run away from the gnawing reality, she chooses the latter. She decides to stand by what is right and could only hope that after the relentless rain of sorrow, those whom she loves would be able to find their way back to happiness.
