Novella It's been thirty years since Teracon Industries took over and enslaved most of the population while the Rebels have been living on the Outskirts, fighting, training and scavenging. Five years after Teracon took over, the next generation of children and Rebels were born and they have learned how to fight and scavenge. Growing up hasn't been easy for Alex and her friends. Sometimes they've had to grow up all at once and sometimes they got to be kids. But that doesn't matter anymore. Now they're headed out on a scavenging mission and Alex's younger brother, Caleb, and a tech named Blake have been sent with them.
