She has been back for the last year, just with no memory of anything before the crash. She can remember anything after. Beca Mitchell is madly in love with Chloe. She got the news about her best friend when she was in London and basically pushed herself off the grid for a year under the beliefs her love was dead. That is until she moves to Georgia to find the woman she loved not even remembering her. Of course Beca regrets her choices. She regrets not telling Chloe sooner. So, she sees a clean slate opportunity with this woman who can't remember her at all....
