Sato Sayaka, age thirteen, is assigned to learn the Rasengan from Namikaze Minato, the sensei of Nohara Rin, Uchiha Obito, and Hatake Kakashi. Obito is thrilled to have her on the team. Rin is glad that there's another girl to even things out. Meanwhile, Kakashi is angry to get her attention because she doesn't notice him at all, aside from being a teammate. With that in mind, Sayaka doesn't really like Kakashi because of his cocky attitude, although she is quite so cocky herself. And fan girls? I don't think Sayaka has that in her vocabulary. Roxanne Westbrook believed love was a complex emotion; either it existed within beings, or individuals were void of true affection. Despite this ideal, her face was always plastered with a smile and her social butterfly status never seemed to falter considering the circumstances. Twenty-four with a stable career as an accountant at the renowned Brightfield Law Firm and surrounded by trusted friends, Roxanne was oblivious to the dangers lurking in between the minuscule cracks, and the perpetrators shrouded behind them. That was, until a devoted lawyer by the name of Levi Ackerman caught her attention at a local bar one night, who would then eventually hurl Roxanne into a horde of unrequited dramas, disturbing secrets, betrayal, and most importantly, one unexpected love story.

There he stood with tattered black wings, encompassed by molted feathers that scattered the plains like dewdrops on a blade of grass. Sedentary, never moving, he was a statue amongst the fluttering leaves and pastures in a world we dubbed, "Earth". Despair and loneliness enveloped him as if they were his only friends. His emotions had been cast away long before he stepped foot on Earth, his features forever embedded with murderous intent, sadistic pleasure, and a twisted grin that vocalized his passion for bloodshed. Lips stained and tainted with a familiar, crimson liquid, he reminisced of years forgotten, years wasted, and years regretted. The copper taste of blood washed over his system, yet none could ever compare to the delectable flavor that belonged to a beloved mortal. She, whose life fluid was the pinnacle of a succulent spread, the epitome of a perfect meal, was perhaps just a figment of his imagination now. Although, without her, he was nothing but a vessel void of a soul, a mere outcast living amidst human beings. Without her, he was a stone, perpetually sinking in the vast, undiscovered waters of the Pacific Ocean, nothing to secure him of ever witnessing the sun's dazzling rays in his eternal lifetime. Without her, he was deemed a psychopath, impatiently craving his prey with bated breath, when in actuality, all he wanted was to sink his teeth into her flesh once again.
