As I write this letter to you, all I have to say is... I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I lied to all three of you. Living a life of lies has taught me that it comes with a price, and now I'm paying it. My name IS Rena Deveraux; that wasn't a lie. But I never wanted to be a Ranger... That's not why I was at the Ranger School. I am so, so sorry that I lied to you, but the truth is... I'm a thief. And you...you were my assignment, and I was to think of you as nothing more than that. It wasn't personal, I promise you. It was just business. I thought I could outrun the law my whole life and never get caught. Never did I once think that the law applied to me, or that my actions would catch up to me one day. It never crossed my mind...not even once. I was so confident, which made my downfall inevitable. I left my back turned for one second and I lost it all. No words can describe the feeling I get when I look at your face... That look of pain, and sadness... Your eyes are filled with nothing but hate and disdain when they meet my gaze. Honestly, I'm surprised that you haven't killed me for what I've done to you. I'm afraid this is the end, and I will never see you again. You can hate me for the rest of your life. I understand... What I did to you is unforgivable, and I don't deserve your forgiveness. I don't deserve to see your smile ever again. My biggest regret is that I will never get to properly say good-bye to you. So, I must do it in this letter. Good-bye, my Prince Charming. I will never forget you. Take care of Rhythimi and Isaac for me, and please...apologize to them on my behalf, since I can't do it myself. Oh, and one more thing, Keith. Assuming that you didn't just tear this letter up upon receiving it, I just wanted to say... I've told you a lot of lies since the moment we first met... But my feelings for you were never one of them. {Pokémon Ranger Shadows of Almia fanfiction; cover art was just photoshopped by me}

Steven Stone: Champion of the Hoenn region, Mega Evolution user, and avid stone collector. Although no one knows his past, or how he even came to be Champion, behind every gem lies an untold tale of formation... Nine years before the Hoenn Primal Crisis, a younger Steven Stone has been forced to study for most of his life to prepare for becoming the next president of the Devon Corporation. His entire life changes when he receives Meteor, a Beldum with companionship to offer and more than enough to say about it. Once the duo take part in and win their first battle, Steven realizes that he's meant to be a Pokémon Trainer and eventually leaves home. Not long into his travels, Steven encounters an organization of people with twisted morals and an even more twisted way of expressing them. It doesn't take long to discover what they want- him. With assistance from Meteor, a few new allies, and an intriguing girl named Arietta, Steven can only hope he's able to elude capture so the organization won't ensure the downfall of not only the Devon Corporation, but potentially Hoenn itself. A story, you say? Well, I know a few of those. Some of them are about me, and some of those are even true. This one's one of my favorites. It's how I came to be the Absol I am today. Of course, I didn't like it then, but that's how it always is with life. It's kind of funny that way. It starts with me running down the slopes of Mt. Coronet... (This story has received the 'So good, someone stole it from me once' Award) (This is an adventure story that takes place in the Game Universe with a mix of OC and canon characters.) (This story is also submitted in the 2014 Watty Awards contest)

2015 PKMNWatties Best in Short Story "I remember that moment my siblings all curled up around me, their fur warm and soft, enough to make me sleepy and dreamy. I looked up at them, my little nose sniffling in the cold wind that rushed from the snowstorm happening outside. "You'll never leave me, right? We'll always be together?" I asked quietly, my voice echoing in the silence of the cave. They all stared profoundly at me, their eyes sincere and kind. All eight of them wore genuine smiles as they purred, rubbing themselves against me in a kind of calming manner. At first I worried they didn't hear me, until my eldest brother, the Alpha of our pack, Jolteon, came closer to me, pushing my little body closer to his. "There'll never be a moment with even a single Eeveelution short." I nestled closer to the safety of my brothers and sisters, my eyes just about shut in the warm company of my family. There was no way to predict what would happen in the future. There was no possible telling we would be together forever as a pack. But despite it all, I believed him. There was nine of us. And that's how it would always be. Or so I thought. You could never imagine how fast a promise could be broken. How quickly you could be pierced. And worse than it all, despite the long, painful years you wait, how some wounds never heal." ----- ~Cover by @AllHailRempire! It's literally the best cover I've seen in my entire life O: THANKS SO MUCH!~
