"Who are you?" I scream, my tiny ten-year-old voice echoing around the room and the person chuckles, "Take a step forward little one. Remove your blindfold." I remove my blindfold with shaky fingers, cocking my head slightly at the sight in front of me. My dad is squatting in front of me, smiling. I take in my surroundings, memorizing the black walls, black ceilings, floors, and lack of a single window. There are tiny holes embedded in a corner, providing the only source of light and air in the entire, seemingly endless room. There is a single black chair in the center of the room but due to the poor lighting, I can't see who is sitting on it. "Hello, Thea."
