Immediately, a blurted sentence from a nurse caused Alexandra's strength to crumble into fractions. Salty tears poured down her coral-dusted cheeks, and her red-rimmed eyes were glued shut. She was now entwined in a world of webbed secrets and plans, and she was unwillingly trapped in the center of it all. Angelica was surprised when she read The Reynolds Pamphlet. It was shocking. Her sister must've hated that woman! But when she asked Eliza about it, she just cried.
