Chise Hatori and Elias Ainsworth have made it through the threat of Cartaphilus, but now a new threat arises and this threat has real anger and hatred for Chise. The story takes place during the final moments of the final episode of the Ancient Magus' Bride and continues from there. Some things will be changed so in a way it is an AU but still aligns with the canon of the show. It is important to note that I will be using the English Dub version as reference for this story. I binged the series in two days, I just finished the last episode, so here we go! Fourteen years ago, Akise Kinata was born in Kyoto, Japan. Her mother died moments after she was born, which drove her father to abuse her for eight years before he accidentally overdosed one night and died. Akise was devastated, even after everything he had put her through, she loved him so much, because she had one dreamt that her mother asked her to never give up on him. When her father died, Akise had nowhere to go, no other known relatives to fall back on, so she was dropped from home to home for two years before she finally had enough and tried to live on the streets. She had ended up in Germany after going through nearly every foster home in Japan. They all sent her away, because she would talk to herself and see things that weren't there. Well, not to normal people anyway. Akise was gifted. Eventually, when she was somewhere around fourteen, she was driven out of the city by a group of kids she owed. She made a quick move and stowed away on a ship that took her to Greenland, except she was caught and jumped off only halfway there. She drifted towards Iceland where she was discovered by Lindel along the rocky shores. The rest will be revealed in time. This Story was created on May 8th, 2018

This is an AU (Alternate Universe) of the Ancient Magus Bride. Detective Chise Hatori, widely known as one of the most powerful creature catchers in the world, is assigned the case to catch the ancient creature. As a child she was abandoned by her father and her mother passed away, as she grew up alone a man took her in and raised her inside the company. The CCC (Critical Creature Catching) Company raised her and took advantage of the abilities she seemed to posses. Though her abilities are powerful they cause her to grow sick, so scientists developed a medicine to keep her healthy. And in return she uses her abilities to catch these seemingly "Dangerous" creatures. However, once assigned the Ancient Creature, she isn't sure if what she is doing is right. This creature doesn't seem dangerous, nor like a threat, as a matter of fact he doesn't seem like a creature at all. He seems like a living person who doesn't deserve to be executed or locked away... is this right? (I left the Mature rating off because it shouldn't get to that level. There will be blood and some graphic scenes but that should be all. The romance between the two will be near the end and should be completely appropriate.)
