August was a normal straight A student with strange parents. She ran track for the school and had a few close friends. But one night, and one stolen kidney, she's taken away to the slender mansion and her life is changed forever.

Lance's mental state is slowly deteriorating due to continued abuse at home, but he doesn't want to feel weak so he doesn't let anyone know. Keith Kogane happens to be Lance's next door neighbor and as soon as he figured out whats going on he's quick to help Lance through his struggle. The boys find comfort in each other.
