❝Do tell me, was this all meant to be? Or was that all a lie to use as a shield?❞ The man named in words I could not speak of had asked me in rage.
I had no one to believe in. I had prefer it this way. As this world got crueler each second. Who else was I able to trust than myself. And I stuck to that. Or so I thought I did. I wasn't wrong to lie to them. So what if it was a shield.

The characters in this book is not real and shouldn't be taken lightly as such. There was no harm in making this. Or so I hope. But ahem, anyway, I wanted to try to write a story somewhat different from how I normally would. Not sure what authors call it when you use "I" instead of writing, she/her or he/him and the name of the main character in the story.
What this story is about is basically about a girl who had a rough childhood. She had no trust in others but herself. It was all her, who took care of her. Then as she grew up she met a man. He looked different, something about him was peculiar. Even his eerie aura he carried, made her shudder. They started out as acquaintance then friends, but it started to get rocky from there. Due to her trust issues she never confided in the male. And whilst he had been there unlike anyone who has, he realised that she had secrets or lies to use as a mask or a shield. It begun to upset him, due to her not caring emotions, she didn't care what she did was wrong or not. As they grew apart, Larisa Petran wonder how the man was doing. Without realising it herself, that he was the only person who ever cared so much about her.
Will she put aside her pride and her hate for the human race, to tell the man she loves him? Or will he become just like everyone else?
