I imagine that it took longer for Christian and Ana to conceive (Phoebe was born seven years into their marriage). I always thought it was too quick and convenient to pop her out right after Teddy. In my version there was also a miscarriage in between, which I don’t really explore (a little too personal of a subject and other people have done a better job with that storyline) but it’s integral to my plot in that it increases Christian’s anxiety.
