Sejak aktif di wattpad kurang lebih sebulan lalu, aku menerima inbox dari beberapa teman yang menanyakan caranya menembus penerbit major. Hm, sejujurnya, sampai saat ini pun setiap naskahku masih harus berjuang menembus proses seleksi penerbit kok. :):) Pengolahan dan pendalaman cerita, alur, plot, karakter, semua itu proses yang harus dialami penulis. Bisa menjadi lebih matang dengan banyak membaca karya berkualitas, banyak menulis (jangan banyak menunda :)), dan mau belajar. Ditolak sekali? Coba 10 kali :) :). Jangan gampang ngambek (pundungan kata orang Sunda mah:)). Naskah itu kadang punya peruntungannya sendiri-sendiri. Sesuaikan genre dan tipe ceritanya dengan karakteristik penerbit yang ingin kamu taklukkan. Ada baiknya baca buku terbitan mereka sebelum mencoba. Tips lain yang nggak kalah penting adalah masalah teknis. Tata bahasa dan EYD. Sebenarnya, duluuuu teknis dan EYD-ku sangat memalukan. #tutupmuka Aku banyak belajar dari penulis lain (salah satu yang banyak berjasa adalah @lexie xu) dan editor di Gramedia Pustaka Utama. Karena itu, aku juga ingin berbagi dengan rekan penulis lainnya. Ingin profesional menulis? Jangan anggap remeh EYD ya. Hargai bahasa Indonesia :):) Tips EYD ini bukan maksud menggurui. Hanya saling berbagi ilmu. Apabila ada yang salah atau ada tambahan, silakan dikoreksi atau ditambahkan.
