He didn't want people to know. Betty's mom is Pepper. Tony asked, long time friends, Alice Cooper to take in Betty. For 14 years, Betty has been the (adopted) daughter of Alice and Hal Cooper. She knows who her real parents are but has to keep it a secret. Soon, Peter Parker comes to Riverdale. He attends Riverdale High as a new student. Peter meets Betty. Peter has a secret. He is Spiderman. The only people who know, that are close to him are Tony, and Ned. Little does he know Betty has her own secret. This story takes place before civil war, but Tony is preparing and has recruited Peter. He doesn't know that Peter had to move to Riverdale, where Betty lived.

Archie made it to clear to Betty that they're just friends. Although hurt at first, Betty accepts that his feelings weren't the same as her's. Eventually, she moves on and finds herself in love with Peter Parker. However, Archie becomes aware of Betty's new relationship. Suddenly, he begins to feel an odd sense of jealousy.

Elizabeth Copper's life was supposed to be perfect, but after gaining superpowers, an absent father and her sister being institutionalized, Elizabeth's life is everything, but a fairytale. Not to mention Elizabeth is in love her best friend's boyfriend, Peter Parker.
