When Jules Hawthourne's only friend leaves to go on a road trip, she is left behind friendless. It is through her skills as an observer which draws her attention to Troy Sanders and due to one rather awkward conversation holding a box of pizza her life changes. Jules makes new friends and experiences things she never dreamed of, yet will she survive this change or be destroyed by it. In leaving what she knows and striving out of her comfort zone Jules is faced with challenges that shake her very being.
