All of Lizzy's dreams were realized the summer that she turned twenty-one, but as soon as the affair had started it had ended, and she was left broken hearted. Brian had loved Lizzy from the first moment he saw her, but his best friend had sensed it and, not approving of a relationship, had warned Brian to stay away from his sister. Brian owed his best friend too much to go against his wishes so he conceded. Now, eight years later, they were both paying the price for Brian letting her go without a fight.

"If you leave with her today, little brother," Hero growled, hand tightening on Aria's delicate wrist. "You are no longer any family of mine." Aria's eyes watered as she glanced between both boys. Both had their hands wrapped all the way around her small wrists, and both were equally painful. Andro, sky blue eyes more confident than Aria had yet to see them, stared right back, defiantly. "Who needs a brother like you anyway?" Hero snarled as he opened his mouth to respond. But his eyes caught Aria's and immediately softened. Seeing the pain reflected in her eyes, he let go immediately. Aria went, gladly, falling into Andro's chest, who wrapped his arms around her and cupped the back of her neck, pressing her to his chest. It was silent for a moment. "You," Hero spat, with such venom that Aria clenched her eyes shut. "are nothing to me, Alessandro." Andro smirked. "Right back to you, Hero." Then, taking her hand softly in his, Andro walked away, leaving his older brother fuming, and with a dull ache beginning in his chest. *full description inside* He opened his mouth to say something to her, hesitated for a moment then closed it again, instead settling for a smile. She watched him closely. Somehow, the smile had more effect than anything he could've said.

****THIS IS A SEQUEL. To be able to follow this story, please read "Unravelling" first**** Lily has started into the new year with a mixture of confusion, curiosity, anticipation - and dread. Ever since her oldest brothers revealed some of the truth about their family's past, the 12-year-old soon-to-be-teenager is struggling to come to terms with all the new and partially heart-breaking information. For the first few months of the year, Lily has tried to stay true to her word and not dig any further into their past, at least not until Alex, her guardian, is willing to share more details with the younger kids. However, Lily's patience is slowly running out. So many things are occupying her mind. She is convinced that there is still a lot more to discover about her family, and she is not willing to wait much longer. What is their father's story and can she locate him? How did her sister die? When will she see Finn again? Why is Sean really moving back home? And what is the reason behind her brothers' weirdly secretive behavior? With the help from her friends and some of her siblings, Lily continues her journey of gradually unravelling her family's secrets. Will she be successful? Will the implications of her discoveries slowly dissolve her family or is she able to save these fragile relationships before it is too late? Join Lily once again as she juggles school, friends, family (meetings), the general challenges of growing-up, creepy stalkers, some tragedies and maybe even her first encounter with something akin to a crush in these rather eventful months of her life.
