Rated PG 13 due to eventual gore. And because I'm paranoid. What if Katniss, Gale, Prim, and Peeta didn't exist? What if someone else went into the games instead? Juniper Wayward is the daughter of Jason Wayward and May Wayward. Her father was killed for going out into the forest. Yet, June continues to disobey the rules along with her friends. June knows what it's like to lose someone in the games. She lost her sister. But when someone she knows gets chosen for tribute, what will June do? Watch her friend walk to her possible death? Or get out of the past and save the closest thing she has to a sister? Will painful memories be uncovered? What secrets will be revealed about her past? Will this be the death of Juniper Wayward? Has she finally met her demise? Has she finally met the one thing she can't overcome, death itself? Jeez, this sounds a bit dramatic...
