This is the story of a young wild horse's fight for freedom after her herd is captured by humans.

Ellie is more dog than wolf, and more wolf than human. Ellie is a werewolf but she is forced to stay in wolf form and treated like a dog. She doesn't remember her past much, just that her parents are dead, and under no circumstance can she shift back. Cramped in her 3x2 cage with a couple rags, a tiny water bowl and food bowl that is usually empty. She lives her life sleeping in her own feces only to come out and play dog. Forced to do tricks or get punished yet again. That all changes one day when another pack comes to eliminate hers. Tyler alpha of the SilverMoon pack attacks the RedPaw pack for its cruelty towards its pack mates. Upon arrival a fight breaks out. SilverMoon, victorious scavenges the territory for survivors. He's watching me again. Those eyes, how they shine in the sun light and crinkle at the edges when he smiles. If only I was brave enough to go talk to him, oh right I cant. It's kind of hard to talk to someone when you don't even speak human. Living as a shape shifter is hard work. Trying to stay hidden and keeping the secret is not easy or at least it was till I met him. I trust him with my heart yet I still am fighting something but what. Why can't I open up to him. There are others like me and along the way I find myself in trouble more then once. Living free comes at a cost, but it I think its worth it.

I understood the danger, I couldn't run like the others, I couldn't howl like the others. I couldn't survive like the others. It was a sensitive topic for me. I often blew up about it and demanded everyone stop treating me like a baby. This was my mistake... I got lost in the woods. I was barking and howling and doing anything to get their attention. I got the attention of some humans. Too fast everything went and now I find myself petted and collared in some boys bedroom. Can I also mention that it's my mate's room? Faith is different and she knows it. Her golden eyes prove it all. She tries to act normal like every other human but she doesn't seem to fit in. Her adoptive parents told her she was found in a basket lying in the forest. But what's so weird is she has this deep connection with the woods that she can't explain. Her woods is her escape whenever she needs to be alone at some time like when she is angry or depressed. Although Faith knows she different and her parents say different is special. Now one morning she wakes up and her instinct is telling her to go into the woods that is behind her home. She trusts her instincts and goes into the woods. Although she goes deeper than ever. Now she is in the middle of the forest. She hears a branch snap and when she turns around she finds a little puppy. Though it doesn't look like a normal puppy more like a baby wolf that can understand her. She decides to take this 'puppy' home and when she does she is in for some surprises. The truth is found about Faith's real family and this puppy turns out to be more than a puppy.

Can you imagine being a shape shifter a proud one strong and brave yet female. No ha well your gonna have to because that's what I am. Me and my family we were all shape shifter yet I was the only one of my kind. Oh by that I mean type of animal. but I didn't care I was glad that I could shift from a human to an animal it made me feel free and like nothing could ever change that. But Something did change that. One day my family got into a fight a battle that lasted 6 days and me being only 11 was not allowed to fight with the rest of my family. So they try to hide me bellow the cellar. After a while the sounds of the battle stopped I heard people looking through the house then nothing after a day of silence. I came out from beneath the cellar but when I did I wished I hadn't there was my family my mum, dad,3 brothers, gran and.... wait 3 brothers, I had four I looked around I didn't find him. Then It hit me my family my whole family was dead, killed, murdered. I fell to the ground and cried I felt broken. Suddenly I felt this pain in side of me emotional physical and mentally. I screamed out letting go of my anger and as I did I felt myself changing in to my animal form but when I was fully changed I felt different somehow like this transformation was final and I welcomed that being in animal form help To Dull the pain which I was glad of as I had no one to share it with. I buried my family and everyone else. Said good bye, And with that I turned away and ran Off in to the night I am arrabella night. The last and only horse shifter.

The world has been taken over by the animals and they have evolved into half animal and half human forms. They have saved the planet from the humans destructive ways and created enhanced technology. The humans are now their "pets" and the amount of humans on the planet are dwindling down. Elsie, a pet, has to decide where her role is in this chaos with creatures kidnapping pets to breed and rebel pets trying to turn things around.

(yes I do know that that is a male horse on the cover, just pretend its a mare xD)
