You're GPA gives you the life that you have always dreamed of. You get the dream job and you're soulmate. All of these things picked out for you due to your GPA. To make sure that people stay straight and go in the right direction, they are given medicine. What happens when someone finds out about this? Well Joshua Bradley does, he ends up going insane. Once this happens they take care of you and put you on medication. You go back to school, but now you have an expiration date, if you don't get your GPA by a certain date, you are a goner. But what happens when Simon Minter, a star student, captain of the football team, had a wonderful life, ends up falling for the expiration date, Josh.
