"What is it that's changed, Lucifer?" Samael said to his larger brother. "It's the demons," he continued, they've been turning to sand and blowing into the abyss, one after another. If only I knew what was next for them."
"If anything at all," Lucifer responded, knitting his brows together and turning towards Samael. "They do not consult me."
They sat together on a black stone platform facing a crater of unknown depth. It was this spot that became their meeting place over the last few hundred years, long after things had cooled down.
"But what's the matter that's causing it all?" Samael asked. "Is there a reason behind it?"
"Not by my hand," the stone like Devil whispered.
Samael scanned the black and gray rocky landscape.
"Half an eternity and I still haven't gotten round to curtains."
