In a Galaxy far away, it has been years since the Human-Covenant War ended. Many lives were lost and many worlds were burned or destroyed by the fallen Covenant empire. Thanks to the Forerunner's technology and unlimited resources the UNSC now known as the Terran Republic was able to restore their fallen colonies and end human insurrections in the outer colonies. The Terrans also made a strong alliance with a new faction called The Sword of Sanghelios which is led by the Arbiter known as Thel 'Vadam. With this strong alliance, both factions became powerful allies and business partners. Together, they expanded their colonies further into deep space and beyond. But with their expansion, they discovered a new Galaxy and colonies of a new planet called Fury. A year after the planet was colonized they found out that they weren't the only living species in this new Galaxy. *A/N: I do not own Star Wars or Halo. I only own my ideas.*

The events surrounding the Gate left Japan with more questions than answers. Although the people beyond the Gate who rescued the captured civilians had clearly opposed the invading force, their true intentions remained unknown. With several high-ranking enemy personnel also detained and an entirely unknown world now lying beyond the Gate, Japan could no longer assume that every inhabitant of the Special Region was either friend or foe. For now, the identity of those mysterious rescuers remained unknown, leaving the Japanese Government with only one certainty: the world beyond the Gate was far more complicated than the invasion had first suggested.

What was once a revered country built upon the ideas of hope, freedom and liberty, had already began to show cracks across her supremacy in the face of unending quagmires of the 21st century. But the very ideas of which America had prided herself upon will endure the test of times, but this time, in a world alien to her own. In a strange event that would be immortalized in the annals of American history as the New Year Event, the United States of America forever disappeared from the face of the Earth, instead finding herself in a world of fantasy and wonder. In a world darkened by warring factions and atrocities, let it be the light of the ideas of which America had built herself upon be the sole shining beacon.
