This is the original, unedited version of Light as a Feather, Book #1. This book was the inspiration for the Hulu Original Series. The revised version is now available in bookstores throughout the USA & Canada from Simon Pulse. McKenna Brady thinks her junior year of high school is going to be the best ever when she's welcomed into the elite group of popular girls at Weeping Willow High School led by blonde, gorgeous Olivia Richmond. Prior to junior year, McKenna was known in her small town as the girl whose twin sister died in a tragic house fire, and she's overjoyed at the prospect of redefining her identity. She has a date to the Homecoming dance with Olivia's handsome older brother, and a good chance of being elected to student council. For the first time since McKenna's parents divorced, things are looking up. But everything changes the night of Olivia's Sweet Sixteen sleepover birthday party. Violet, the shy, mysterious new girl in town, suggests that the girls play a scary game called Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board, during which Violet makes up elaborate stories about the future ways in which beautiful Olivia, brassy Candace, and athletic Mischa will die. The game unsettles McKenna because she's already escaped death once in her life, but she doesn't want to ruin her friends' fun. It's only a game, she reminds herself.

**A Wattpad Cliche** Cover by @thatcyrusguy I actually love Wattpad. It is a really genius idea. But, I'm sure that I'm not the only one who searches for hours upon hours (okay, ten minutes) searching for that perfect non-cliche book. This is for all aspiring writers who want to know the don'ts (just the don'ts) of writing a wattpad book, and also for anyone who loves it when other people are made fun of. Fall in love with Lana as she stumbles through life as a clueless naive 17-year-old supermodel. Actually, don't fall in love with her. Because if you do, Braxton the guy she might (definitely will) end up with by the end of the story, will freaking kill you. Thank you for reading. Valerie O'Conner has a pretty good idea of how her summer will go, and it revolves around three very simple activities: sunbathing, working at the local ice-cream parlour, and daydreaming about a world where Logan Mathews doesn't get his way. What she isn't exactly prepared for is a British tourist with a habit of pushing her out of her comfort zone. It doesn't take long for Alastair Sullivan to decide that his entertainment in sleepy Sandy Cove will be helping the town cynic find love. When Valerie's life is turned upside down by a series of promises, she's forced to battle with what she really believes in. A Young Adult story of personal growth, conflicting feelings and a whole lot of romance. Highest Rank: #37 in teen fiction.

*Featured Wattpad Story* ❝As they say, opposites attract.❞ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ Daniel Mormon is the luckiest person alive. Without even trying, he gets girls, grades, and attention everywhere he goes. Nothing seems to touch him, and it doesn't seem like anything bad is about to happen to him anytime too soon. Harriet Benchman is, to put it nicely, miserable. Her mom and dad despise eachother, she has no friends, and her grades are as good as popcorn and ketchup put together (bad, you didn't get the analogy). The only thing she attracts is rainy days. They both abhor each other. One is perfect, the other is disastrous. So when they are forced to compete in a dance competition together, the only things that will come out of it will be total annihilation (or so they think), and some sweet moves. [Edited Version] "We only read erotica," Fiona said with a straight face. "Come again?" I asked, clutching my copy of Jane Eyre to my chest. I suddenly felt like a girl who'd come to a fancy-dress party dressed as herself. "Oh, come on, Janelle," Fiona smiled, pulling my hand and leading me into the room. The light in the library was dimmed to a dull glow, and then I heard a man's voice reading: "I entered her from behind, squeezing the taut skin of her buttocks and driving myself even deeper, until..." Somewhere in the dark, I heard moans of pleasure and the unmistakable yowl of a climax... [Cover by @headfullofstars]
