The year before the Ring War, Princess Lothíriel of Dol Amroth is sent to Rohan by her father to seek shelter from the storm brewing in Mordor. There she meets Éomer, Third Marshal of the Riddermark. Unfortunately they do not hit it off...at first.

King Éomer of Rohan and Princess Lothíriel of Dol Amroth - surely the perfect political alliance. But what if the lady is not willing and decides to use unconventional means to get out of this arrangement?

Éomer, King of Rohan, has had many losses in his life; of his family only his sister Éowyn survived the Ring War. So he decides that in the future he will guard his heart better and thus avoid further hurt. However, he also needs to find a wife. Luckily there is an answer to his problem: that wonderful Gondorian invention, a marriage of convenience... A tale of loss, love and limpets.

How did Éomer, King of Rohan, meet his wife? This is a series of oneshots describing different scenarios, some long, some short, some serious, some less so. No connection with each other or any of my other stories.

How do you court a woman without her noticing? Bartered away to a Harad prince by her uncle Denethor, Lothíriel is left a widow by the War of the Ring. Disillusioned with love and men, the last thing she wants is another alliance for political reasons. Which presents Éomer of Rohan with a slight problem... (AU)

When their parents died Eomer and Eowyn were sent to live with their uncle. There Eomer befriends an extremely intriguing girl who plays an important role in bringing not only Eomer from darkness, but the rest of Rohan as well. Will this girl be able to sit idly by as the War of the Ring looms closer? Will Eomer be able to realize what exactly he feels before its too late?

King Éomer of Rohan has come to Gondor to find a suitable queen: beautiful, elegant, regal and always courteous and polite... Instead he encounters an unusual young princess and a danger that threatens his very life.
