This is not a fictional story but my first hand experience till today in understanding and learning about Islam Hope i will receive strength and guidance from my fellow Bothers and Sisters. I intend to pen down my experience till today and continue writing it as a diary as i progress in practice and learning about this beautiful religion ? hoping to embrace it one day. First of all i beg forgiveness to Allah and to all of my fellow reader for any unintentional mistakes i may have committed in summarizing my experience, as i am still an aspiring muslim, practising and learning about Islam and still believe i have only understood only the tip of the iceberg ❄️ A big shout out to @_Diarra_16 for guiding me on this platform and to my dear friend Naseem for bringing me under the light of Islam.

It was that one phone call that changed my life. That one phone call that made me regret wasting any second of my life. That made me realise how short and valuable life is. But it was also that one phone call that made me keep trying, the one that gave me strength and told me to keep holding on. My name is Anne-Marie Jackson and this is my story. This is a story of Strength, Hope and trying to survive. I hope you read on and learn what I learned when it was too late. And remember; Hold On Pain Ends.

"I don't get it! Why do you keep doing this to me?!" His words were wrapped in molten lava, hands in his hair, eyes closed tight. My heart hammered at my ribcage. I knew where this was going. "You pull me in, then you push me the hell away!" He shook his head at me in disgust. I felt a piece of me break at every disappointed word he'd said, the panic was rising through every crevice of my body. "I'm done Al, I can't keep playing this game with you. I can't keep picking up the casualties on my own. I am tired, I'm just tired of trying to make you love me." He let out in defeat and waited for my response. Alarms started going off in my head but all I could do was look down in shame. When I didn't say anything, he looked at me a moment longer and turned to walk away. Everything in me was screaming at him to stay but no sound would come out of my mouth. He was walking at such a slow pace I knew he wanted me to call him back. But as I opened my mouth to scream his name, I remembered something Amirah had told me a few weeks ago. "Allah sends you signs to show you that someone isn't good for you and when you still don't let go, he makes them hurt you so that you have no choice but to" I wasn't good for him so I let him go. _____________ This is Alanna's story. It combines the tragedies of her past, the trials of the present and what ties them together. Buckle up because this is one hell of a story.

If you believe, please proceed. If you don't, this may or may not benefit you. Includes facts side-by-side with Quranic Ayaat and Ahadeeth. Warning: May trigger the ignorant (both the idiot and the knowledge-less) ------- My conclusion after much observation, research, and contemplation: Logic can be flawed, so it is not a reliable basis for an extensive practice of ideals. Islam can be explained through logic (for the sake of those who don't understand without it), but it is not based or rooted in logic. Sometimes, you just gotta acknowledge that you don't know everything. "But over every possessor of knowledge is one [more] knowing." - Quran 12:76
