"Mr Brooks? Late again?" The teacher and the whole class stared at him. "Sorry," he said smugly and sat down in the seat behind you. Your cheeks filled with redness and you cautiously tucked your chair in and got on with the maths work. As the bell rang at the end of the period, everyone left. "Jai, you've got detention after school," the teacher told him, "Be here at four." You grabbed your bag and was about to leave when your teacher called you back, "Y/N? Where's that homework from yesterday?" He questioned you. "Oh, I- Umm..." You stuttered. "Then I guess you'll be joining Mr Brooks at four then, aye?" And with that you muttered a few words under your breath then left.
