Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, the son of the chief of Berk Stoick the vast. He was considered the runt, weakling.... failure of the village. But when the village finds out that Hiccup had befriended a dragon... a beast... they took matters into their own hands and gave him a punishment, one that they all would regret when it was uplifted but one that changed him for the best.

As a baby, Hiccup Haddock was taken by dragons from his home on Berk to the dragon sanctuary. Now, 20 years later, Hiccup is sent to watch over Berk with his Night Fury friend, Toothless. But, all does not go as planned and they end up stuck a little to close to home.

It's the story of a young Viking. Actually, he isn't that young anymore. He's 23 years old now. His name is Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. 8 years ago, he had to run away from his beloved home Berk because he became best friends with a creature that no Viking should ever become friends with: a dragon. Prior to the rewrite, the story will first take place when Valka and Hiccup were captured, and Stoick picking himself up. For now it's their adventures we'll look into before Hiccup takes the wheel.
