Elio was now 27 Oliver was 33 Oliver had a 15 year old daughter, that had enrolled for her first year at a elite boarding school in Italy, the same elite boarding school that Elio Perlman happened to be a history teacher at. The math doesn't add up does it? If it's been 10 years since they spoke, and he had a 15 year old daughter must have meant that Oliver Ulliva had a family when he was in Italy. How bout that? Ella Ulliva,the blond haired, green eyed, bright smile, enchanting American, is mega smart but somehow still very oblivious and girl-ish and is in the tenth grade and meets Elio in her first period history class and she only sees him as a teacher in the beginning.
